Ryder
El Ryder Club de España (RCE) es una meta-asociación que engloba a diversas asociaciones de ex-alumnos de universidades internacionales de prestigio, sobre todo de Estados Unidos y Europa. El 1 de abril de 2009 se constituyó legalmente como asociación. Fruto de esta colaboración, los asociados de cada asociación miembro reciben invitaciones a actividades organizadas por las otras asociaciones, con una frecuencia de dos o tres veces por semana. Las actividades incluyen conferencias, mesas redondas, cenas, presentaciones de libros y fiestas, entre otras. Así compartimos experiencias comunes, conocimientos, y cultivamos una red de contactos, ampliando el círculo de conocidos.
The Ryder Club of Spain (RCE) is an association encompassing alumni clubs of prestigious international universities, mainly in the US and Europe. It was legally established on April 1, 2009. As a result of this collaboration, members of each association receive invitations to activities organized by the other associations, with a frequency of about two or three events per week. The range of activities is very diverse: conferences, round tables, dinners, book presentations, parties and others. This way, we can share common experiences and knowledge as well as meet new people, allowing us to broaden our contact networks.

Los miembros del RCE son las asociaciones de antiguos alumnos, no éstos a título personal. Por lo tanto:
- Si eres un antiguo alumno de alguna de las instituciones mencionadas abajo y quieres participar y recibir aviso de las actividades que se organizan, deberás contactar con el presidente de tu asociación de antiguos alumnos en España, para que te incluya en la lista de distribución de emails correspondiente.
- En caso de que tu asociación de antiguos alumnos esté incluida abajo pero no puedas encontrar modo de contactar con el Presidente, nos puedes mandar un email a info@ryderclubspain.com y con gusto te pondremos en contacto con él o ella.
- Si tu asociación de antiguos alumnos no está en la lista, permítenos que te sugiramos que te pongas en contacto con la oficina de antiguos alumnos de tu Alma Mater para averiguar si ya existe un grupo de antiguos alumnos en España. Si así fuera, Un Comité del RCE estudiaría la posibilidad de incluir tu Asociación de Antiguos Alumnos en el RCE. Si, por el contrario, tu Alma Mater te informa de que no hay ninguna Asociación de Antiguos Alumnos en España, te animamos a que la crees; te podemos poner en contacto con otras personas que también han pasado por el mismo proceso de creación de asociación hace poco.
It is important to underline that it is the alumni clubs who constitute the members of the Ryder Club, not the alumni themselves on a personal level. Therefore:
- If you are an alumnus or alumna of any of the below mentioned institutions and you want to receive the invitations to the activities and participate in them, you will have to contact the president of your alumni club in Spain, to request your inclusion in the corresponding email list.
- In case your alumni club is listed but you can’t find a contact person, you can send an email to info@ryderclubspain.com and we will gladly put you in contact with your club’s president.
- If your alumni club is not on the list, please, let us suggest that you get in touch with your alumni office back at your alma mater to find out if there is already an organized group of alumni in Spain. If it already exists, a committee within RCE would study the possibility of including your association in the RCE. On the contrary, if your university informs there is no organized group, we encourage you to create it. We can put you in contact with other people who have also been through the same process of creating an association not long ago and can give you some guidance on the process.
